Yesterday was day 4 of totally RAW and loving it. I always know that when I go raw something happens to me on a different level. I start looking at all aspects of my life and this time is no different. I am certainly spending this time deeply reflecting on my life, my happiness, what makes me happy and how I am spending my time in this short life. I know change is coming. I also know that 2012 is my year. Recently I heard that old quote “Everywhere you go there you are” and it meant more than it ever has. It doesn’t matter what you do – there you are doing the same thing. This was big for me. So my saying of the day is “Become the Change You Seek”. This I will be defining for myself in the next week. I will keep you posted. It will be an extension of my vision board – which is weird because I have this strip of white down the right hand side of my vision board that just did not get filled. Maybe this was what that space was for.
So I am excited, scared and surrendering to my inner voice through this time. When going 100% raw you really are in-tune with life. Alert and awake to what is going on. I know in the past that this has sometimes been too much for me. It’s nice to live in a numbed out world for a while and this is where most of us live. That way we do not have to deal with the dysfunction of our lives. Food can give us that warm hug and bury those feelings. When you eat clean, nutritiously rich food that truly feeds the body you are awake – YIKES!
Ok that’s enough from me. My white roses by my bed look beautiful, my hot yoga yesterday was amazing and my Hunter boots arrived today. My Christmas present from my mother-in-law. You will see me living in these gorgeous wellie boots (as we call them in England). As part of my simplicity plan I now only have about 6 pairs of footwear. In the past I proudly would announce that I owned 35 -50 pairs of boot, shoes, sandals and any other sort of beautiful footwear LOL!

Hearty salad and corn chowder soup (Day 3 of this soup. Getting a little boring now. Oh well it is warm and that, I am grateful for)
